Who are the New Vermonters and why did they choose Vermont?
The latest Vermont Roots Migration research considers the experiences of people who moved to Vermont during the "pandemic era," beginning in March 2020. In 2021 we conducted in-person and on-line group interviews with people who chose the Green Mountain State as their new residence. We followed up with them in 2023.
